However, it is a good and useful reference book for learners of all levels. The author has several years experience as a Spanish teacher in the U.S. and has lived in Spain for more than six years.

This book goes over basic phrases you might memorize if you just want to speak and understand enough spanish to get by. It also goes into more detail about a lot of grammar etc. I liked the way verbs were explained here, there are a lot of patterns to irregular verbs I never picked up on before and it goes over them here.
